How We Work

1. Insurance companies or any other parties interested in a psychiatric IME can contact us through the contact form or the 1-844-PIM-E111 (1-844-746-3111) number.

2. It is preferable that the insurance company indicate the expected date of the report, which usually varies between 14 and 21 days from the time the client was seen. Additional information, such as cost, available appointment dates and any other questions will be included in our response to your request.

3. All inquiries will receive a reply within 48 hours. Our goal is to book the client within four weeks from the time of the initial contact. All appointments are virtual. A link to an encrypted telemedicine software will be provided by us once there is a request to book the psychiatric IME.

4. Most cases involve a two-hour appointment with the person being evaluated. Some complex cases may involve an additional appointment for the completion of the report.

5. The diagnoses provided will follow the standard classification of mental disorders in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5). The treatment recommendations provided will be evidence-based, following guidelines by the Canadian Psychiatric Association. Guidelines from other sources will be referenced if deemed relevant to individual cases.
